Rupert Deese: "Aphros", 2011. Drypoint

Rupert Deese at the Menil Collection.

The Menil Collection, Houston’s eclectic temple of art from all time periods, has acquired an impression of “Aphros”, an edition of drypoints by Rupert Deese. The print joins another of Deese’s paintings in the museum’s collection. “Aphros” was published by the Chinati Foundation and produced at Manneken Press in 2011.  Impressions of “Aphros” from the edition of 100 are available from Chinati at the link above, and purchases benefit their programs. Manneken Press has published many editions by Rupert Deese, dating from our founding in 2000. Rupert Deese’s prints can be viewed here.
