Tamarind Institute, the venerable organization credited with the revival of hand lithography in America and charged with the training of new generations of Master Printers, is holding its annual WIN/WIN Art Lottery benefit on Saturday, September 16, 2017. This is Tamarind’s primary fundraiser to provide scholarships for students and residencies for artists. All artwork has been generously donated by Tamarind artists, printers, and friends, to support Tamarind Institute. Richard Hull returning to Manneken Press
We are looking forward to starting a new project with Chicago artist Richard Hull later this month. Manneken Press published two etchings and several monotypes by Hull in 2015, all of which can be viewed here. Hull has had recent solo exhibitions at Western Exhibitions, Chicago; Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloomington; and Bruno David Gallery, St. Louis. His prints were seen in Manneken Press’ booth at the 2016 E/AB Fair, New York, and in the recent exhibition “Manneken Press: Recent Prints and Projects” at Illinois Wesleyan University.
