Gary Justis
Gary Justis works primarily in kinetic sculpture, frequently incorporating light as a central element of his practice. His recent prints explore light both as subject and material. Using LED, xenon, and incandescent sources in combination with reflective surfaces and found objects, Justis constructs enigmatic figures of light, which he then photographs. These images variously suggest human or alien forms, animals, imaginary flora, natural phenomena, and land- or spacescapes, while others remain fully abstract. The works are produced as archival pigment prints, available in a range of options.
