The “Chromatic Patterns After the Graham Foundation” deluxe portfolio consists of Judy Ledgerwood’s three “Chromatic Patterns” prints, in eye-popping combinations of day-glo color and glittering silver, which closely relate to her 2014 immersive installation at the Graham Foundation, and a poem by John Yau. A poet, art critic and longtime friend of Ledgerwood’s, Yau wrote the poem as a tribute to her installation after experiencing it. The poem is silkscreened in silver ink on white paper. The pink portfolio case, with silkscreened title and colophon, and grommet and grosgrain ribbon closure, is by the late Chicago designer Jason Pickleman.  The portfolio is produced in a limited edition of eight. The prints are signed on the back and numbered in Roman numerals to distinguish this deluxe edition from the standard edition of 20. Yau’s poem is unsigned. The dimensions of the portfolio case are 32.5 x 24 x .5 inches; the prints and poem are 22 x 30 inches.

The portfolio was included in “Disguise The Limit: John Yau’s Collaborations“, an exhibition mounted at the University of Kentucky Art Museum in 2024, and is documented in the exhibition’s catalog.
