The Center of the Lake (2000)
Artist’s book
The Center of the Lake is a collaboratively produced artist’s book featuring nine poems by California-based poet Todd Young and ten serigraphs by Rupert Deese. The book consists of a single hand-sewn saddle stitch signature printed on Stonehenge paper, bound with linen thread and enclosed in a folded pale-blue Magnani Pescia cover with debossed title. Each book is numbered and signed by the artist and poet.
Printed in an edition of 200, the volume measures 10 ¾ × 12 ⅛ inches and comprises 14 pages. Published by by Manneken Press.
