Two of Brian Cypher’s etchings will be shown in Seattle in Out Of Sight, a survey of contemporary art in the Pacific Northwest. The exhibition takes place at King Street Station, a 24,000 SF space close by the Seattle Art Fair, which will be happening concurrently.

Curated by Kirsten Anderson, Sharon Arnold, Greg Lundgren and Sierra Stinson, Out of Sight showcases over 80 emerging and mid-career artists, the largest survey of contemporary art happening in the region. Both in scale, proximity and premise, Out of Sight is a bold and audacious exhibit, designed to recognize the immense talent and creativity that the region harbors, and the under-recognized creative capital of the community.

Manneken Press published a portfolio of exquisite black and white etchings by Brian Cypher in 2014, which can be viewed here. Brian Cypher is a resident of the Pacific Northwest’s Skagit Valley.
