Gary Justis
The subject of more than 100 exhibitions, Gary Justis’s work is included in numerous public and corporate collections, including the Museum of Modern Art Library, New York; the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC; the Fogg Museum, Boston; the Illinois State Museum, Springfield; the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Fidelity Investments, Boston; the Alexandria Museum of Art, Louisiana; the Krannert Museum, Champaign; and the Rockford Museum, Illinois. His work has been reviewed in Art in Print, Artforum, Art in America, ARTnews, Art & Antiques, Sculpture, New Art Examiner, Arts Magazine, Dialogue, Newcity Chicago, the Chicago Sun-Times, and the Chicago Tribune. Justis has completed public commissions for Illinois State University, the City of Evanston, Illinois, and O’Hare International Airport in Chicago. He lives and works in Bloomington, Illinois.
